We had never seen so many birds on our feeders as we did yesterday afternoon, Here are a few photos.
You can feel the aggression...
The other feeder was just as bad!!
Probably the best place to be was on the floor...
It has not been as bad today, perhaps the birds knew it was going to be frosty last night,,,
I would like to finish with a word of warning for anyone that uses Picasa 3 as we do... Yesterday I managed to delete ALL Elizabeth s photographs... 199Gb consisting of 70,200+ files... How, I am not sure, we had a strange folder (directory) with one photograph in it which was a duplicate of one in the March 2015 folder,,, I deleted it... It deleted the complete set of folders from the hard drive under the heading Elizabeth... Why I do not know!!!
It took 6 hours to copy them all back from our backup on the NAS drive... I will not do that again!

That's remarkable. Hitchcockian even!
I like Picasa but I find the directories confusing and cumbersome. Thanks for the warning!
Personally, I wouldn't touch an online storage site like Picass'o'...
It is bad enough that Blodger chooses to use it...
for storing our blogpost photos...
and creating directories with one, or five, or three pix in...
but NOT all from the same post.
I have often thought about tidying it up....
so, I will leave it where it ought to be... well beyond the reach of my bargepole!
I often get "comments" about the photos as if they were standalone pix....
why, that is stoopid?!
Fumblr is bad enough... but there, at least, there are communities [used to be called groups]that you can post pix to and get feedback...
like you, all our pix are on the NAS... and two other drives!!
To be sure, to be sure, to be sure!!!
Great birdfeeder shots.
I've got several weird Picasa folders with just one photo in them. Thank goodness I never tried to delete them! Many thanks for the warning.
We keep all our photos on our own external hard drives, but it would have been a real pain to loose all the blog photos, as they are automatically Picasa.
We use Picasa on our hard drive to view and sort all our photos and it usually works fine but like any software they are forever updating it. We always keep several copies on different PC's and the main backup on the NAS which has 100% redundancy... Belt and braces as they say C
Anyway, to comment on the ph'tos...
a great set of action shots...
I especially like the last shot on the first feeder...
that's real beak and claw stuff that!
Obviously the feeders are the Public Bar with the Millwall supporters club in....
and the ground is the Lounge Bar where everyone is much more well behaved...
even though most of them are wearing the same kit as the ones in the Public!
Great pics.
Relieved that you were able to re-install the pics from your back up. What a nightmare if this hadn't been possible!
