Colin discovered the pipe insulation on the top of the boiler was shredded...
And finally the worst of all... the seeds which I had collected and left on the next to the top shelf in the cellar....
.......have been eaten and with them, some of the hazelnuts we so carefully guarded from the wiles of the woodpecker.... only to be eaten by some tiny rodent!
We are not amused! In fact, so little are we amused that we've just been out and purchased these..
When we want house guests, we'll invite them!

Oh dear. It is the time of year I think, for the little darlings to venture indoors. Good luck with the traps. Soon you will need a whole new storage area for all your traps.....!!
By the tidiness of the holes... I think they might be voles!
Pauline and moi now have a lot of TINS to keep such things in... keep your eyes open at the vide-greniers... we had one critter that stole, pellet by pellet, our pelletized chicken manure.... there's no accounting for taste!!
We hope you can get rid of your unwanted guests soon, before they claim squatters rights!
We just found the cabling to the rear lights on our trailer chewed through...
Probably by a fouine!! Terrible mess!!
Oh dear. Our traps had one success but I now think they are wise to them...
