for a look at the sights, sounds and smells of the monthly market..
Then it was in the car for a run over to Le Grand Pressigny for lunch with Jean and Nick. We were diverted from our usual route onto the D74, where the bridge for the new LGV had been completed...
A sunny and rather warm walk up the Four Banal in Le Grand Pressigny.
I was too busy enjoying my food to take any photos of the rest of the meal but take our word for it: It was delicious!
Colin then enjoyed some quiet time with Lulu...
Before Jean and I took her for a walk up round the chateau and down along the Claise where the autumnal colours were already in evidence.
The flowers adorning the bridges across the Claise and the Aigronne looked magnificent in the bright sunlight
At least, I thought it was a reflective stance but more likely Colin was in need of a sit down. It had been quite a day and how we'd enjoyed it!
Thank you, Jean and Nick!
