Kitchen update - English Version

Being in England for a little longer than usual has given us chance to catch up on some much needed decorating jobs. First of all we "refreshed" the bathroom and then it was time to tackle the kitchen...

Before..
 After... evening shot
 daytime shot..

Feels like a new kitchen!

When we said we were starting the New Year with paintbrush in hand, we really meant it!

Nice...
wonderful what a "new" set of doors will do...
but, what are you going to do with the remains of the cupboard where the "lave-vassaille" now is?
Build another to replace it??
And, for some reason....
with the white doors...
the new oven looks smaller than the old...
I know it cannot be...
the old door hasn't been "cut-up" to make infill!!
Must be all that white making the kitchen look twice its original size!

And..
that title...
"Kitchen update - English Version"...
you mean you are about to do the same thing in France...
having put that new section in last year???

Well done. It looks so different. Lighter and brighter. Ours in the UK is long overdue for a complete redo - I don't think any amount of paint on the doors would be much of an improvement!

I think cupboard painting is quite a skilled job, and the rubbing down has to be just right. You could market yourselves as 'kitchen revampers extraordinaire', and get a lot of business. :o)
