A lot in Braslou this weekend...

2 CV's that is. Touraine 2CV club is holding its annual meeting on the recreation area there with over 200 Deudeuches expected.

Last time the event was held there in 2012 we were only looking for one... We now have our France 3...

It also rained for most of the weekend...

The theme this year will be 1970's with period costumes and camping equipment...  Will we notice??!!!

On Sunday morning the cars will parade through Braslou ending in the square in Richelieu... The full news item is here

We are undecided what to do. We bought ours to use not to put on show and we use it to go everywhere in good weather...  We have also planned to go up to Chinon Marche Medieval  tomorrow...

"A 2CV is not a car...
it is a way of life!"

Do both...
You will meet a lot of new friends...
Learn a lot about a wonderful car...
nay, Series...
The Ami, Dyane, Acadiane, Mehari, Bijou and even the first of the Visas [seen on the right in the second picture] were all A-Series Citroens....
as was the LNA...

People don't go to these events to SHOW... Ye Gods... Pierre Boulanger would spin in his grave...
the 2CV is a cabriolet to be used come rain or shine...
Your car will not be on show...
it will, however, be much admired!!
