The arrival of some more work!

After completing the new front path with the help of 1m³ of 4/10mm Mignonnettes we spotted an advert on Leboncoin.fr for a company in Braslou, our neighbouring village. We emailed them and received a prompt reply so placed an order for three tonnes to be delivered after our return from England, to re-gravel the main drive.

True to their word, we got a phone call yesterday to arrange delivery and we were told to expect them this morning between 9 and 9:30. The lorry load arrived about 10.20 (this is France; why rush?)

So here it is...

What a nice pile. And that's how it will probably stay....for a while!

That is certainly a few back-breaking barrow loads!

We need more for our drive but Tim has some excavating to do first. Good job he's almost retired!

Ha Ha Tim will soon learn... when you retire you have even less time than when you were working... It is the strangest of phenomenon...

It's a good job Elizabeth is good with a barrow!!
