I'm sure gardeners the world over will identify with the following:
Having spent a couple of weeks back in England, where our garden is well established and full of perennials, we did the obvious thing...
We split them and brought back as many as we could fit into the, already packed, car.
The challenge now is to find the right spot for each of our imported plants...And if they thrive as well as all the ones we've brought back on previous visits they will add yet more colour and variety to the garden.
Before we know it we'll be splitting them and passing them on to friends and neighbours here. And that is surely one of the many pleasures of gardening.

We've got a lovely euphorbia robbiae to swap for a hemerocallis... P.
And I like the PULL handles on your barrow....
much easier to pull a barrow than push...
especially on the gradients in our garden. T[this time!]
P, you're on!!
That reminds me, I must go and get my geranium plug plants before we come next week........
