Aire de Loisirs - Revisited
Out on a bike ride today with Jane, we passed the Aire de Loisirs, which Braye shares with Braslou, our neighbouring commune.
We've done this ride before several times before (see here), but today we were in for a surprise...

What was it like last year and the year before?
I'm wondering if had been drained just before your 2011 visit...
part of the reason that Le Louroux is drained frequently is to keep the water quality up.
That said, the last two winters would have filled Lake Michigan!!
And what a pleasant surprise!
Its been empty for a while (a few years) after it had been drained. Looks like they have closed the sluice gate and allowed it to fill up. Thanks for the good news, its been depressing walking past this since it was emptied. Time to do the Braslou randonnee en bleu again.

Tim, Yes it had been drained and empty for a few years but has filled this year.
