Should have read the user manual...

Men never read user/ instruction manuals but in this case it probably would not have helped...

For the three years we have had the Motobineuse I have found that, in use, the handle has been too low. The only adjustment for height being two different holes on the handle fixing... Shown in the red circle

Being an Engineer, I thought I would buy some mild steel flat bar and make a couple of extenders. It did not need much; circa 15cm height increase would be fine. The bar and some bolts were duly purchased.

and a couple of extension brackets measured cut and drilled...

NOW! (And please note: It is impolite to laugh at another man's self infliction... )
When I came to fit the brackets, it was only then that I noticed an additional adjustment hole in the lower handle attachment point.

By putting the bolt in the other hole, as shown above, it raised the handles by a staggering 18cm which should be more than enough...

It is shown in the user manual but not very clearly, pictures 3 and 7...

But a manual is useless if you DON'T read the B****y thing... SO, if anyone has a use for two pieces of mild steel flat bar with four holes drilled at 5.5cm centres let me know...

AND Read your instruction manuals!!!!

I always say when in doubt read the instructions, but you obviously did not doubt that it could not be extended. Ha ha. Have a good day. Diane
