A Day in the Life of a Lavender

A photographic look at some of the visitors to one lavender plant in the course of a day...

 

Not bad for a few moments of observation! Lavender really is a magnet for insects, butterflies and bees!

I agree, lavender is fantastic for insects. If only more people would plant lavender and fewer people planted buddleia. That rosemary beetle at the end will be particularly enjoying your lavender, by the way (and not in a good way for the plant...)
