There has been quite a run of these on allotments in the UK... they apparently work very well.
Construction is "easy"... wooden frame sections and bamboo canes to hold the bottles in place. Cutting the bottoms off the bottles gives you a strong wall section.
Some look quite flimsy... this seems to be much stouter!! In winter, an inner skin of bubble wrap or polythene makes it draughtproof... in summer it is not needed... in fact, a greenhouse needs good ventilation in summer. I saw a picture, in the NSALG magazine, of one that had used green bottles at the bottom... very artistic.
"Gogglin" this: recycled water bottle greenhouse plans gives you a huge range of plans... some use the bottles on their sides, held in frames... no need for any insulation in winter!!
"Gogglin" this: recycled water bottle greenhouse and click "images", you will see plenty!! Including "interior" views!

Tim has a few technical questions (typical!) but I think it is ingenious.
I really admire people who can recycle to such good effect like this. Clever and thrifty.
