One look is worth a thousand words....

In December 1921 the phrase "One look is worth a thousand words" was used by Frederick R. Barnard in Printers Ink, commending the use of graphics in advertising.


I think this photo, taken by Colin in 2009, speaks volumes...but then, I'm just a soppy sentimentalist at heart!

That's three photos in a row that have been put 'away' to become screen savers. I've got the handy birds at the moment and the king-fisher and deer will get their turn soon. Thank you. How did Colin get the deer to pose so close?

Lesley, It was just one of those lucky shots. In fact it was part of a bigger picture and until we looked at in on the big screen we didn't realise what he'd captured. Thanks for your comments!
