An Idea for the School Answer Phone??
We watched a short video today, posted on Facebook by my niece. It had a great deal of resonance for me after my years in teaching and whether you've been in the teaching profession or not, we feel sure you'll find some sympathy for the sentiments expressed.
Well, there's nothing like telling it how it really is! Hope it made you smile!

Perhaps it should become the "world of staffrooms" morning chant?
I didn't really believe it could be genuine - surely nobody could get away with that, even in Australia !!
But I bet many a school wishes it could have a similar answerphone message. Certainly, in my dealings with the general public (sometimes referred to privately as the great unwashed) I have often wished I could tell people what I really thought of them instead of pussyfooting around all the time, afraid of upsetting someone who's lying or otherwise being a complete toerag, for fear of being abused or sued.
People who serve the public in one way or another have to put up with a great deal of c..p these days !!
