I cannot even think how many times we have driven right past Poitiers but we have yet to visit it! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what we have missed :-) Diane
there is a great university there my brother graduated from there hopefully it has changed as I remember him complaining about the wooden benches in the auditorium that was 50 years ago!!!
It's taken us long enough to pay it a visit but we're very glad we did. There's some superb architecture to see, more churches per square mile than anywhere else I know and of course the shops...
