White Van Man..

Another first for us yesterday...  We needed to collect some materials and however we tried it was not safe to use the car... So it had to be, we went to hire a van and joined the hallowed ranks of White Van Man...

The service from our local Intermarche was first class and the staff very helpful and patient with us. The only scary part was leaving the €1000 deposit.

All went very well and the materials were collected and delivered safely by Col the white van man. The large Ford Transit was very economical and easy to drive once you got used to its size - especially tricky on the narrow roads.

BUT looking at these two we wondered if we could have used the car after all...

We wonder if they got to where they were going safely and without getting stopped!
