Elizabeth on the Make - Again!

This time it was willow prunings...

From that to this...

and then...

Can you see what it is yet???

It's a frame for her beloved plumbago, which we bought as a twig at a vide jardin last year. Elizabeth she first saw a plumbago ten years ago at Hidcote Manor, the arts and crafts garden designed by Lawrence Johnston and now owned by the National Trust.

We thought at  one stage we'd lost ours, but it took a turn for the better and has gone from strength to strength and today the first of its flowers has opened...

Now that's what she's been waiting for! What a colour!!
