Lidl...

Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG is a German global discount supermarket chain, based in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, that operates over 10,000 stores across Europe.

We shop there both in France and in the UK as it offers very good value and their hard goods are good quality and usually have three years warranty.

We also use the car for convenience when shopping!  If however you have no car and several bags of shopping how do you carry it all home?

Like this of course...

Not the best of pictures as Elizabeth had to get the camera and take the photo as we were driving past!

Can anyone tell us why this picture was not taken in France.

Because the bag of shopping would have slid off due to the traditional jaunty angle of the beret?

Because of the sash windows in the houses in the background.

And because Elizabeth has taken the photo looking back from the passenger seat on the left of the car and the photo is not taken looking across the street, but right beside the footpath.

All correct, but also the Lidl plastic carrier bags which we don't have here in France.

It looks like Africa as people there carry on there head long before they carry in hand! Have a good week. Diane
