On a recent trip through the Channel Tunnel the Customs Officer, looking at Colin's passport, asked if the "little bridge" was still there?

The bridge in question, known locally as Cromwell's Bridge, is still very much there despite its age all that the elements throw at it.

So, for all Customs Officers out there, here is that "little bridge"!

Following on this week's theme of wild animals and birds, this stone carving was seen in Brungerley park in the Ribble Valley town of Clitheroe.The park, once a quarry, is now a designated wildlife conservation area.

It forms the seat of a bench...

Seems a pity to sit on it really!!
