It doesn't seem a whole year since we went to Chaveignes Marché Fermier; Marché Gourmet in 2012...
Looking back at our photos from the event makes us want to weep! *Oh if only!
However, despite retrospective 'squash envy', we spent a lovely afternoon browsing the stalls and enjoying the exhibits.
So if anyone is in the area on Sunday 20th October and looking for something to do, we can recommend a trip to Chaveignes. Just be prepared for an awful lot of squash!
*In case you're wondering..... our squash were not what you'd call an unqualified success..(see here)
Art and all that stuff

Chaveignes: Marché Fermier, Marché Gourmet
Saturday, 10 November 2012
If you have time on your hands.
If you have time on your hands what could you do...
You could write a book about your favourite food.
This is obviously what Messrs Hildebrand and Kenedy did. Not just a small paperback but a thick heavy hardback.
What fascinates us is who would buy such a book especially in the small village of Chaveignes at the farmers market.
