A Vase full of Grass

I was out looking for flowers to cut when I noticed a patch of tall grasses in an uncultivated area of the garden..

And that made me think....

What better display than a vase (jam jar) full of grasses, with the odd flower thrown in?

    That's lovely.... people tend to forget that grasses as flowers too!
    That'd win a prize at a flower show....
