Pond Life: Part Three!

This one was really unexpected...

I looked out at the pond this morning and say this..

I blinked and looked again...

Sure enough, there in our bathtub sized pond was a juvenile Moorhen! As we watched, it jumped out of the pond... (apologies about the reflection from the window)
and set off across the lawn..
Before taking off in flight!

Wonder what will arrive tomorrow?? SO glad we have a pond!

    Wonderful! Not only is the pond life good for you but good for wild life too!
