We can sum up our rather frustrating afternoon in one word...

DEPANNAGE!

When the car wouldn't start we called out the breakdown services. It seemed to be due to a flat battery but WHY it should be flat was a mystery... but it needed to be checked...

And this was the view as we followed the breakdown truck up the road to the dealership at Chambray-les-Tours, only to be told there is nothing wrong with the car..
We'll see!!
