Property maintenance

A walk through the village the other day confirmed our suspicions that property maintenance isn't high on the agenda for many rural French..

This was a photo we took in November 2010, not long after we'd moved here.


This is the same gutter taken last week...


Not much improvement there then!

    Assuming the property is occupied, it's obviusly low on the occupant's list of priorities !!

      Yes on both counts; It's occupied and obviously low down on the 'to do' list!

      Well yes.. I guess there's something positive to be found in every situation if you look hard enough! Hope all's going well for the new term?
