A Celebration of Poppies..

This post is sheer indulgence on my part. I love poppies and their colour and movement....

So, with no apologies, here is my celebration of those beautiful flowers, taken in the garden this summer...


Just wonderful! And, yes, I know I did a similar post last year.... but I love poppies and my camera likes them too!

    I also love poppies so I enjoyed this. Wish I could get the yellow Californian poppies to grown in our garden. The neighbour has them but the seeds do not seem to germinate our side of the fence!! Diane

    It's been a proper poppy year this year, hasn't it? And the bees love them too.
