Wild Boar

This is the sight I've always wanted to see.....




We were lucky enough to spot these elusive creatures en route to Le Grand Pressigny, on the Allée de Dangé,  Leugny.

This is a second sighting for Colin..... he last saw these beasts near Bordeaux some twenty five years ago... need I say more?

    You lucky things! I've never caught a glimpse although there's a wallow at the end of one of my butterfly transects, hidden in the trees, so I live in hope.

      I've always been hopeful that we might see something like this but today we just 'got lucky'!

    I have seen sanglier three times now but no chance of photographs, they have all been too quick!! Great photos. Diane

    I saw a group of them in some woods somewhere near Descartes but was not quick enough to get a photo.
