How windy has it been?

Elizabeth photographed this on our return to France on Sunday...


The wind farm is located on the side of the A16 just before Étaples; all who travel that route can't fail to have seen it. This turbine however has generated its last electricity...

The picture below is taken from google street view when all were intact.

    Too strong or too weak, it's never going to be able to compete with the Nukes!
    But, hey ho nevermind the poor ******* customer/tax payer will make up for it.

    In our part of france they were 150kms an hour.

    In a house surrounded by about 100 trees, it was scary.
