Macroglossum stellatarum again !!!
Yesterday when we visited the Château at Rivau in one of the flower bed areas I came across the Humming Bird Hawk Moth feeding furiously on the dahlias.
I could not resist and I promise it will be the last time.... For this year anyway!!!

They really are amazing creatures, aren't they? Well done on the excellent captures... not easy as they are so fast!
ReplyDeleteI could look at these hawk moths all day. Sadly now our lavender is over there are not many around. I just wish my camera could cope with photos like yours, superb. Diane
