Goldfinches and Niger Seeds

We put out a seed feeder with Niger seeds on the advice of my son Stephen that Niger seeds attract Goldfinches.
A couple of weeks passed and we had only seen the odd bluetit!

AND THEN !!!!
They feed quietly away loving the seeds - when there are only two of them - very cute.
When there are more than two things change.........
Then there are the ones that sweep up.......
Watch and enjoy.

Some even do acrobatics whilst waiting! watch the goldfinch at the top of the picture.

    You will have to get a feeder with more feeding ports.
