Pulling up the spikes!

When we first bought the house there was a fence dividing a section of garden directly behind the house.

We decided it was not for us and removed the fence and the posts. We later removed the black & red current bushes and raspberry canes to the potager. All that was then left was the Arch and the spikes that the fencing posts where in. We did try to pull them out by hand but to no avail!

Then we had a cunning plan.

We knew those leylandii had some use!

And out they all came!!
