Hens update

Some of our regular readers may be interested to know how we're going on with our new additions....

The day after we bought them we had one egg..

Now we are getting two a day, the lighter coloured one from the White Sussex (Penny) and the brown one from the Warren (Tarragon).

Over half of the eggs we've had have been double yolkers...

We are still waiting for the Bluebell to lay. She is named Heather, after Colin's mum (it's a long story!!)..

So come on Heather: go to work on an egg!
