No end to the rain..

We (and many, many others) are getting heartily sick of the rain.

Today we had a thunder storm, hailstones and heavy rain. We now have a photo to illustrate the saying "rain coming down like stair rods" ..


These are some quite dramatic pictures taken over the past few days of the impending rain...

And after the rain, a beautiful double rainbow..


Now all we want is the sun to come out - and stay out!!

      I couldn't get out of the door quick enough to catch it before it began to fade! Just lucky to get it in time!

    Nice idea putting a dome over the village to protect it from said rain!

    Same here. Today has been perishing cold with intermittent showers, more like February or November. We lit a fire this evening and I am in my polo neck jumper - so different from last year.
